Mission Shakti in Nagaland is an integrated women empowerment program focusing on the safety, security, and empowerment of women. It comprises two sub-schemes: ‘Sambal’ for safety and security and ‘Samarthya’ for empowerment. These include various initiatives such as One Stop Centres, Women Helplines, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Ujjwala Homes, and more. The Department of Social Welfare is the nodal agency for implementation.
