The Kerala State Veterinary Council is a statutory body established under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984. It is responsible for the registration of veterinarians in the state of Kerala and for maintaining a register of such veterinarians.
The Council also has the power to regulate the practice of veterinary medicine in the state and to take disciplinary action against veterinarians who are found to be guilty of professional misconduct.
